Accessibility Statement
Last updated 20 August 2026
We tell client firms that accessibility is a live exposure and that every page we ship is audited before launch. It would be indefensible to hold our own website to a lower standard.
Standard we build to
This website is designed and built to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. That commitment applies equally to every landing page, form, and case page we deploy on behalf of a client.
What that means in practice
- Text and interactive elements meet or exceed AA contrast ratios against their backgrounds, in every colour band on the page.
- The entire page is operable by keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element and a skip link to the main content.
- Headings follow a logical order, landmarks are used correctly, and form fields carry programmatically associated labels.
- Motion is decorative only and is disabled entirely for visitors whose system requests reduced motion.
- Layout reflows without horizontal scrolling down to 320 pixels and remains usable at 200% zoom.
- Form errors are announced to assistive technology and describe both what went wrong and how to correct it.
Known limitations
The animated intake sequence in the page header is illustrative. It conveys no information that is not also stated in text elsewhere on the page, and it does not animate for visitors who have requested reduced motion.
Tell us if something does not work
If you encounter a barrier on this site — or on any page we have built for a client firm — email info@theslatemark.com with the page address and a description of the problem. We treat accessibility defects as production defects: acknowledged within two business days, and fixed rather than triaged into a backlog.
